Beachcomber Drawers

The top of this small chest of drawers is a piece of driftwood mahogany that was given to me by a friend. Such a beautiful piece of wood deserved others to match it, so I searched through my stock of driftwood for mahogany and other species.
The three drawer-fronts were cut from a single mahogany board which I'd had for a while and the legs were cut from a single length of well-worn 5 by 2 inch driftwood which I recently found along Oare Creek.
The relief-carvings on the drawers and end panels depict natural objects found on a beachcombing trip.
Height is 30 inches; width 28; and depth 18.
