These shelves are
made from some nicely worn lengths of driftwood boarding
which were collected along the banks of Oare Creek.
A carved pelmet defines the four small arched 'holes' on the top shelf, the through tenons on the lower shelf are pegged with seaworn twigs and the sides are decorated with holed beach pebbles from Whitstable.
