Lizard Chair

I often see lizards basking by the footpath when I am out looking for driftwood on hot summer days, and decided to carve a couple into the thick piece of wood which forms the seat of this chair.
The three pieces of driftwood which make up the backrest reflect the skeletal remains of old wooden structures which are occasionally seen sticking up from the mud in tidal creeks. These are set into a swivelling cross-rail and restrained by a piece of rope.
Overall height of the chair is just over 5 feet, width is 26 inches.
