Pikefish dresser

This dresser is made from some of the dark red mahogany and mahogany-like pieces of driftwood that I have picked up on my regular foraging trips along Oare Creek.
The top of the lower cabinet was cut from a length of elm board which had been nicely worn and darkened by its adventures at sea.
The drawer-front is carved with an image of a pike lurking amongst water-weed, and the sides are heavily carved to depict smaller fish hiding in weed fronds.
The top unit features a mirror and two small arched doors which echo the arched doors of the base unit.
