This cabinet features two low-level drawers and a cupboard. It is made from my collection of painted driftwood and other found odds and ends.
The top was once part of a large blue rudder, probably from a sailing barge. This thick piece of mahogany, which still has the top mounting bracket fitted, was found by the side of Oare Creek along the road which leads to the Shipwright's Arms track.
The two drawer-fronts were made from a chunky length of white-painted driftwood which I found washed up onto the rocks at Folkestone while out searching for fossils with my family. The two drawer-pulls were made from fishing net floats which I found some time ago.
The height of the cabinet is 45 inches, the depth and width are 17 and 23 inches respectively.
