Seaside cabinet

A bedside cupboard made from assorted driftwood found along Oare Creek, Faversham. The two sides of the cabinet are made from a beautifully worn length of pine which was found, water-sodden and with grass growing in it, by the creekside.

The arched door has a small panel made from inlaid pieces of sea-worn pottery and two carved panels above. The through tenons on the lower shelf are pegged with selected beach pebbles.
