Shingle Shelves

The two sides of these shelves were cut from a single piece of driftwood, an old scaffold board I think, which I almost left lying by the side of the creek as it was sodden and muddy, with grass growing through it. After drying and much wire-brushing, however, the board was not only usable but also very attractively worn.
I have attached two clusters of carved wooden limpets to the sides, two carved fish below the bottom shelf, and carved scroll end-pieces to the top shelf.
The overall width is 34 inches, overall height is 36 inches and shelf depth is 7 inches.
