Spiral table |
|||
The top of this oak table is made from some lengths of oak decking which were found alongside Oare Creek en route to the Shipwright's Arms. These are held between two carved end-pieces which were cut from a length of oak floor joist. The rest of the table was constructed from my workshop stash of oak and features a drawer with driftwood twig knobs. The spiral design of scrolls is reflected in carvings on the legs, drawer-front and stretcher-rail while the two ends are decorated with holed beach pebbles.
